Our Vision: A remarkable series of events brought Sha Spady, Becky Jo Goodwater, and Bill Barton into an extraordinary cooperative effort that led to the creation of Big Oak Stables. This partnership saw the potential in a neglected and repossessed 16 acre parcel of fertile farmland in Molalla. They shared a vision for the property that included implementing environmentally sound farming practices, natural horsemanship and training, riding lessons and boarding as well as community involvement through horse rescue efforts and filling a need for disadvantaged youth to experience rural lifestyle and skills.
